Frequently asked questions

Is my blog content sent to DevHub servers?

No. Requests are sent directly from your browser to your configured AI provider using Bring Your Own Key (BYOK). DevHub has no intermediate server and stores none of your content.

Does this tool work offline?

No, AI formatting requires connecting to your chosen AI provider API (e.g. OpenAI, Gemini, or a local Ollama instance running on your machine).

What length of content is supported?

The tool supports up to 100,000 characters (~20,000 words) per formatting run, making it suitable for long-form essays, comprehensive guides, and multi-part tutorials.
